Regulatory Documents
The Nuclear Safety and Control Act (NSCA) establishes the regulatory framework for nuclear matters in Canada. By expanding on requirements set out in the NSCA and associated regulations, regulatory documents provide greater detail about regulatory requirements.
What are regulatory documents?
Regulatory documents explain to licensees and applicants what they must achieve in order to meet the requirements set out in the NSCA, the regulations made under the NSCA and regulatory documents. They are an integral part of the CNSC’s regulatory framework for nuclear activities in Canada.
